I consider teaching and public speaking engagements as crucial components of my work on behalf of animals – vehicles that offer me an opportunity to share information with different audiences within the classroom, or outside of a formal teaching or training setting. My public talks are often educational, covering a range of topics relating to animals and their well-being, and are many times designed as panel discussions or debate-style events.
I have taught classes at the University of Washington, Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, and UC Davis, California. I also conduct private training sessions and workshops and lecture around the globe on topics ranging from animal behavior to primates to welfare.
I always welcome the opportunity to engage with individuals, organizations and teaching institutions to disseminate this important work.
